I just spoke to Sintayehu (my attorney here) and found out the timing of the Embassy appointment today.
Basically, he said to meet him in the parking lot of the U.S. Embassy, and to bring Elsabet Aden and my passport.
Sounds very much like some illicit transaction, no?

I think you are, right now, meeting him or about to! Wow! It’s all coming to a rapid close. So glad Clare is improving, and that all is falling into place. Loved the video and roadside pix. The weather looks gorgeous. Sending you our love!

Okay, it’s after 2:00. I’m sure everything is fine, but how about an update for the Nervous Nellies in the crowd (um, that would be Astrid and my mother btw–I’m as cool as a cucumber about the whole event–you’re in good hands!)
